about the artwork
This image has been digitally restored and enhanced by Rebecca Caldwell of Decor Eighteen Hundred.
The restoration process includes repairing damage, adjusting color and brightness, reformatting and resizing and preparing the image for high-quality printing.
Great care is taken to preserve the character that makes antique art so special. You may still see age-related marks (foxing), grain, cracking, brushstrokes, or areas of softness. These details are part of the artwork’s history and charm.
We believe beautiful works of the past deserve to be enjoyed again and we pay our respects to the artist who have created these timeless works on our Artist Treasury page.
Choose options
Beautiful art begins with beautiful materials. Our fine art prints are created using archival inks, papers and canvases that are designed to resist fading, so you can enjoy your artwork for years to come. Below you will find a detailed look at our print options. We hope this will assist you in deciding what format best suits your decorating needs.
a note about cropping
The image crop may vary depending on your selected print size. Standard rectangular sizes, such as 5×7, 8×10, and 11×14, may show slightly different portions of the artwork. Our square prints are not cropped.
a note about print color
We strive to ensure the colors you see on your screen represent the actual print that you will receive. However it is important to note that since digital screens are backlit (light coming from behind) in person the colors and overall image brightness of the print may vary.
We ask for your kind understanding with these slight variances.
